Business Report

Under Business Report, Newegg Marketplace sellers will be able to see various reports related with sales, customer ratings, items, orders and returns.

How-To:

View Store Summary

By default when you login to Seller Portal this is your default page. The Summary provides a summary of your daily sales. The information is refreshed every two hours.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Summary
  2. Summary - Daily Total
    • Orders – The count of daily orders, not including voided order(s).
    • Units – The total number of ordered items.
    • Item Amount – The sum of selling prices of all items sold minus all discount.
    • Shipping Charge – The total shipping charges associate orders placed on Newegg.com. Please note: only SBS (Shipped by Seller) orders are included to calculate shipping charge.
    • AOV – Average order value, AOV = (Item Amount + Shipping Charge) / Orders
  3. Sales Report – Graph of Gross and Promotional Sales for each hour
  4. Daily Top Items – Gross Amount, top items sold for the day. You can sort the item list by Amount or Units.
  5. Shipping – The number of unshipped orders for your account. Click on the number to go to Order List and view unshipped orders.
  6. Seller Performance
    • Seller ID - Your Seller ID
    • Seller Status - Activation of account.
    • Average Feedback - Feedback of your account, click on “Average Feedback” to review the details of your “Customer Rating Report”.
    • Returns - Identify any open request for Return or Refund for invoiced orders. Click on number next to “Open” to review the details.
  7. Balance - Click on number to take you to your summary of Payment Reports.
  8. Listing Details
    • Total Items - Your total item count, including both active and deactivated items.
    • Active Items - Identify the items that currently active for sell.
    • Missing Image - Identify the items that missing the default image and cannot be activated for sell.
    • Out of Stock - Identify the items that currently with 0 inventory.
      Note: missing images and out of stock items can't get activated on Newegg.

View Seller Performance Report

To maintain a good performance at Newegg Marketplace your account performance will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Please note this report is available for Newegg.com platform at this time.

In the event where your account does not meet one or more performance metrics during a particular review period, a warning email will be given requiring remedial actions immediately. If your account does not meet performance expectations for two consecutive review periods, your account may be at risk of losing selling privileges in Newegg Marketplace.

Seller Performance Metrics Target:

  • Average seller rating at 3 eggs or above
  • Order Defect Rate < 1%
  • Pre-fulfillment Order Void Rate < 2.5%
  • On-time Order Fulfillment Rate = or > 98%
  • Refund Rate < 2.5%
  • Customer Message Response Time (Beta) = or > 98%
  • Policy Violation < 1

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Seller Performance Report
  2. Performance Summary is a consolidated view of latest metrics.
    Good to Keep.
    Anything less than “Good” requires attention, assessment, and action.
  3. Performance Details metrics of your account for SBS (shipped by Seller) and/or SBN (Shipped by Newegg) orders, if applicable.
  4. Order Defect Rate is defined as the percentage of orders with negative seller rating, unresolved Newegg Marketplace guarantee claim rate, and chargeback rate.
  5. Pre-fulfillment Order Void Rate is defined as the percentage of orders voided by seller.spr01.png
  6. On-time Order Fulfillment Rate is defined as the percentage of orders processed within three days. NOTE: This measurement is only on SBS (Shipped by Seller) orders.
  7. Refund Rate is defined as the percentage of refunds issued for invoiced orders.
  8. Customer Message Response Time (Beta) is defined as the percentage of how quickly you respond with courtesy to all customer messages. NOTE: This measurement is currently in beta phase. All customer metrics will not be used to measure Seller Performance yet. Newegg reserves the right to update the setting in the future without further notice.
  9. Policy Violation is defined as the percentage of policy violation that Newegg team has issued a violation ticket to your account during a certain time period. NOTE: Policy violation may cause account suspension.

View Sales Revenue

Here you can see your Sales Revenue for your store.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Sales Revenue
  2. By Default, The filters of the Sales Revenue are “Today” and “All” for “Ship - by”, “Industry”, and “Subcategory”. Click on the Drop-down menus to customize search, click REFRESH to update result.
  3. If you have “Promotions” revenue, click on the check box to view as well.
  4. By default, Sales Revenue is on “Graph View”, to switch to no graph and just a table click on TABLE VIEW.

View Customer Rating Report

Customer rating report contains all the reviews and ratings on your store.

How-To:

  1. Seller portal > Business Report > Customer Rating Report
  2. The Customer Rating Report shows how customers who have purchased from you rated you. Customers who have purchased from you can give you a score of 1 to 5 eggs per purchase:
    • 1-egg: the customer is very displeased with the order.
    • 5-egg: the customer is very satisfied with the order.
  3. You can see how customers have rated you for orders within the last 30, 90, 180, 365 days and since you started selling on Marketplace. When you click on the link, the View Rating Detail section will display all the ratings corresponding to the link you clicked on. The View Rating Detail displays any comments included in the rating.

    As a seller, you can respond to feedback in the View Rating Detail section. Each feedback from customers can be replied to once. Each response will go through an approval process by the Newegg content management team before it goes live on the website and is sent to the customer through email. viewcustomerratingreport.png

View Payment Reports

Payment report provides a detailed breakdown of your store activity for a specified settlement period. By reviewing a Payment report, you can understand your store activity. There are various tabs for Payment Reports which are the following:

Summary

On the summary tab of the Payment Reports, you can see your earnings and fees by settlement period.

How-To:

  1. Seller portal > Business Report > Payment Report > Summary tab
  2. You can see the dollar amount of orders placed, refunds issued and fees allocated by settlement period. All is then added together for a total amount earned during the settlement period.
  3. Click on View Transactions to see all transactions in detail in this settlement period.
  4. Click on Go to Settlements to see a summary of another settlement period. viewpaymentreports01.png

Transaction Detail

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Payment Reports > Transaction Detail tab
  2. On the Transaction Detail page, you can see all the transactions for the account, filtered by specified conditions, click SEARCH to list transactions.
  3. When transactions have been listed, you can click exportall.jpg icon to extract list to a MS Excel file.
    Note: if you have other users for the account, and they are unable to export list, the admin of account will need to be set to View & Edit in user account setting for Business Report > Payment Reports. viewpaymentreports02.png

Storage Detail

This section is to display the storage fee that we charge seller when seller is using SBN (Ship by Newegg) and park their inventory in Newegg warehouse.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Payment Reports > Storage Detail tab
  2. You can list all items in storage by clicking on SEARCH or filtered by specified conditions search for item.

Settlements

You can search for different settlement periods by from and to date.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Payment Reports > Settlements tab
  2. Click SEARCH to list all or filter by from and to date.
    When settlements have been listed, click on View to see the settlement summary page for the selected settlement period. Or click View Transactions to see transaction detail page for specified settlement. viewpaymentreports04.png
  3. When settlements have been listed, you can click exportall.jpg icon to extract list to a MS Excel file.
    Note: if you have other users for the account, and they are unable to export list, the admin of account will need to be set to View & Edit in user account setting for Business Report > Payment Reports.

View Commission Rates

This section displays the commission rates per industry for your reference.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Commission Reference
  2. Filter commission rates by industry, click SEARCH to list.
  3. View the details of commission rate for selected industry.

View Item Report

This report is a summary of the items that you have available for sale on Newegg Marketplace. You will be able to see a summary of all your items' activity, inventory, and top items.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Item Report
  2. By default, when you go into this page Ship by, Industry, Subcategory is set to “All”. If you want to narrow your search click on dropdown box and click REFRESH to view a new listing. A summary of items will be displayed of active and inventory of items.
  3. By default, the graph view is shown first. To switch to just a table view of items, click TABLE VIEW. viewitemreport.png

View Void Orders Report

You will be able to see a summary report of voided items for your account.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Void Orders
  2. By default, SO date is set for today, ship by, industry and subcategory is set to “All”. You can filter to narrow your search by clicking on dropdown table and clicking on REFRESH.
    A summary of void rate, void revenue and void reason breakdown will be listed.
    For the graphs you can switch and calculate by Order Count or Order Amount.
  3. By default, the graph view is shown first, to switch to just a table view of items, click TABLE VIEW. viewvoidordersreport.png

View Returns Report

You will be able to see a summary report of all the returns, replacements, and refunds.

How-To:

  1. Business Report > Returns
  2. By default, RMA date is set for today, ship by, industry and subcategory is set to “All”. You can filter to narrow your search by clicking on dropdown table and clicking on REFRESH.
    A summary of Return and a summary of Return Rate will be listed.
    For graphs, you can switch calculate by Returns, Amounts returned or Units returned, and switch Return Type to All, Refund or replacement, by clicking radio buttons.

View Order Location

You will be able to see a summary report of orders by each region you can view by Amount, Orders, or Units.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Business Report > Order Location
  2. By default, the date is set for today, ship by, industry and subcategory is set to “All”. You can filter to narrow your search by clicking on drop down table and clicking on REFRESH.
    A summary of shipped items to each region will be listed.
    For graphs, you can switch calculate by Amount, Order, or Unit click on radio buttons to switch.
