Manage Items

Create New Item

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item Creation > CREATE A NEW ITEM
  2. Select Industry and Subcategory, see below regarding subcategories availability and icons. Click CONTINUE to proceed to next step.

    Subcategories in GRAY, not available for account.
    Subcategories in ORANGE, scheduled to be closed to ALL Marketplace sellers within 30 days.
    Subcategories NOT GRAY, available for account.
    icon indicates subcategory is eligible for Premier program. (Only available for Newegg.com)
    icon indicates subcategory is eligible for Refurbished item creation. (Available Newegg.com, NeweggBusiness.com, Newegg.ca)
    icon indicates subcategory is eligible for Used item creation. (Only available for Newegg.com)

  3. Basic Information All fields indicated with red asterisk, you must enter. Click CONTINUE to move forward to Specific Information.

    Note: Once product is created Item Condition, Manufacturer, Manufacturer Part#, Packs or Sets, UPC/ISBN, or Seller Part# cannot be updated.

    • Item Condition create product as either New or Refurbished. Furthermore, if subcategory indicated icon then subcategory is eligible to create products under the following conditions Used - Like New, Used - Very Good, Used - Good, or Used - Acceptable.
      • New: The product is brand-new and has never been used. It is in manufacturer original packaging, which has not been opened.
      • Refurbished: The product has been professionally inspected, cleaned, and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications. The manufacturer or refurbisher warranty must apply.
      • Used - Like New: The product has been opened, possibly used but is in perfect factory condition with no signs of cosmetic or functional defect. Product includes warranty, and accessories found with the original product. Product may or may not be in the original packaging. Returned items with minor packaging defects fall under this category.
      • Used - Very Good: The product has been opened, may show slight signs of use and cosmetic blemish, and may be missing minor accessories, but remain in excellent condition. Product does not come with warranty unless stated otherwise in product description.
      • Used - Good: The product has been used, may show clear signs of use and may be missing minor accessories, it remains in good condition. Product does not come with warranty unless stated otherwise in product description.
      • Used - Acceptable: The product shows clear signs of use, cosmetic defect, and may be missing minor accessories and manual, but remain in working condition. Product does not come with warranty unless stated otherwise in product description. Functionality issues beyond signs of use should be disclosed in product description.

    • Condition Detail This field will be available only if Item Condition is used. Enter information related to the product’s condition it can be described here to help customers understand the product.

    • Website Short Title Enter a short, easily identifiable title. It will be used as the Product Title for your product on all store pages. Do not include any specific item details such as item condition.

    • Manufacturer The manufacturer name for the product. You must use a pre-defined value from Newegg system. If the manufacturer does not exist in Newegg system you may add it by clicking on ADD MANUFACTURER under Manage Items > Manufacturer > Manufacturer Request in Newegg Seller Portal.

    • Manufacturer Part# Enter the manufacturer’s unique part number of product.

    • Packs or Sets Identifies the package count of product, product’s with same UPC or Manufacturer Part# may be manufactured or packaged to different unit counts. Identify the package count correctly to avoid mismatch.

    • UPC/ISBN Enter the UPC or ISBN code of product.

    • Seller Part# Enter unique identification number that you will use to keep track of product on your end. createitem02.jpg
  4. Specific Information All fields indicated with red asterisk, you must enter. Click CONTINUE to move forward to Detail Information.

    • Item Dimension Enter individual unit shipping Length x Width x Height in inch.

    • Item Weight Enter individual unit shipping Weight in pounds.

    • Item Package Select item's package if Retail or OEM packaging. Default is Retail.

    • Bullet Description Enter concise descriptions of selected product features or functions which will be listed by bullet point below the Website Short Title on product page. This information will be used to identify item’s original information. Do not include any specific item details such as item condition.

    • Product Description Enter a detailed description to be featured on the item page. This description should state the features and functions of the product. It should be the same for all items in product family. (4000 character limit.)

      • You can submit product information using HTML code:
        • Accepted tags <ol>, <ul>, <li>, <br>, <p>, <b>, <i>, <u>, <em>, <strong>, <sub>, <sup>, and <img>
        • HTML tags must be well-formatted (all open tags must have a closing tags, exception is <br>)
        • No HTML attributes
      • Using <img> tag to include externally hosted images, to ensure your images can be displayed correctly, please review the following recommendations and requirements:
        • Recommendation:
          • Add images that will highlight specific product details
          • Use the images content as keywords to define image names
          • Do not set width and height in the <img> tag
        • Requirement:
          • Image link can only be supported within HTML formatted product description
          • Only “Https” can be accepted. Non-qualified link will error out
          • Accepted format: JPG or PNG
          • Do not set inline CSS in the <img> tag
          • Up to 10 images can be accepted for each item. Every image must meet the following criteria:
            • The maximum width allowance is 1000 pixels for both width and height
            • Maximum file size for each image is 200kb
      • NOTE: This information will be used to identify item’s original information. Do not include any specific item details such as item condition.

    • Shipping Hazardous Materials Certain items have shipping restrictions where the item cannot be shipped through air. If the item you are creating has such restriction, set value to Yes. Otherwise, set it to No. The default is No.

    • Country of Origin The country of manufacture/production of item. Newegg only accept ISO standard three-letter codes for the various countries of the world. For complete list, please refer to the following: International Country Guide
      Note: This is required if you intend to sell your items globally through Newegg.

    • Age 18+ Verification Whether the item contains graphics or content that is inappropriate for person under 18 years old. The default is No.

    • California Proposition 65 Whether the item contains chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity and the item is a motherboard. For more information please go to: http://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list for list of chemicals. The default is None. For batch update, please refer to the following: Guide for Providing California's Proposition 65 Warnings.

    • Choking Hazard If item contains choking hazard, please select choking hazard here. Please refer to Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) for more information.createitem03.jpg

  5. Detail Information The information here is subcategory specific, so it will vary from subcategory to subcategory. Click CONTINUE to move forward to Price;Inventory;Shipping and Images.
    • Fields indicated with red asterisk, you must enter.
    • Fields indicated with blue asterisk, optional to enter. However, if you plan to create a variant listing then you must enter. These fields are referred to as group-by fields.
    • Fields that must be selected the values are pre-defined. If the values do not exist at selection then you must request to add it to Newegg system by contacting our Newegg regional content team, US Marketplace: mktp.content@newegg.com or Canada Marketplace: content@newegg.ca.
    • Fields with empty fields boxes you may enter user defined values. Meaning there is no restriction, you may enter your own value.createitem04.jpg
  6. Price;Inventory;Shipping and Images All fields indicated with red asterisk, you must enter. Click SUBMIT to create item to Item List.

    • MSRP Enter the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) or list price for the item.

    • Selling Price Enter the actual price at which the item is offered for sale.

    • MAP Price This field allows you to dictate the “minimum advertised price” for the item. If the Selling Price is below the defined MAP, the website will ask customer to add item to shopping cart to see the item's price.

    • Checkout MAP If checked, regardless of Selling Price and MAP Price, the website will ask customer to add item to shopping cart AND go to checkout page to see the item's price.

    • Inventory Enter the quantity available for sale for item.

    • Shipping Select either Default or Free. Default, then the item will charge shipping based on how Newegg charges shipping for the item. You can refer to Estimated Shipping Charge in Item list to get an idea of how the default setting will affect the shipping charge for the item. Free, then the item will not be charged shipping.
      Note: To update the Shipping Rate for Shipping with Default, go to Newegg Seller Portal > Manage Account > Shipping Settings.

    • Item Images Enter image(s) for New or Refurbished either by URL or direct upload. Image upload by URL must be a direct link to the actual image and image file must be (.jpg or .jpeg).
      Note: if Item Condition is used you are required to enter a new image of item, if there are no current image(s) here.

    • Item Image - Used Item Description Only Available if Item Condition is used. Click tab to enter used image(s) here. This is dedicated to better describe the characteristics of used condition. The image(s) should not be of a new item. Enter image(s) either by URL or direct upload. Image upload by URL must be a direct link to the actual image and image file must be (.jpg or .jpeg). createitem05.jpg

  7. After clicking SUBMIT you are informed if you want to create a similar item, this will create variant listing. If you do not want to create a variant item then click CONTINUE WITHOUT ADDING SIMILAR ITEM to finalize item creation. Or click ADD A SIMILAR ITEM, minimal requirements is needed to create the variant listing, click here for details.
    Note: Adding similar item, all group-by field(s) must be entered, if not selected, you cannot complete this. Click CONTINUE WITHOUT ADDING SIMILAR ITEM to create item then update the group-by field(s) after item has been created to Item List. Create an Existing Item

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item Creation > Or, Find it on Newegg
  2. Input the item’s manufacturer, manufacturer part number, item description or Newegg Item number then click SEARCH to find product in system. createexistingitem01.jpg
  3. If item is found, verify the item, click SELL THIS to process item creation of existing listing. If item is not found then the item does not exist, you need to create a new listing, click here.createexistingitem02.jpg
  4. Provide product details for Basic Information, Specific Information, and/or Detail Information if fields are available to enter. If fields are grayed out, do not be alarmed, this is normal because you cannot edit details of existing listing. Lastly, Price;Inventory;Shipping and Images enter all required fields and click SUBMIT to create item.

    Note: If the content appears to be incorrect of existing item, you may request to have the item’s content reviewed by contacting our Newegg regional content team, US Marketplace: mktp.content@newegg.com or Canada Marketplace: content@newegg.ca. If item’s content is incorrect it will be updated, include in request what fields are incorrect and updated information.

    • Seller Part# Enter unique identification number that you will use to keep track of product on your end.

View Items

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List
  2. [Optional] Display global countries. Select all or specific countries. This option is not available for Newegg.ca and Neweggbusiness.com platforms. Newegg.com platform, check global shipping settings at: Seller Portal > Manage account > Shipping Settings
  3. [Optional] Search by Seller Part#, Mfr Part#/ISBN, NE Item#, or Item Title.
  4. Leaving search field blank will list all items. Otherwise, input specific information.
  5. [Optional] Click ADVANCED SEARCH to filter and narrow search.

Customize The Fields of Item List

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List
  2. Click for custom options.
  3. Select fields accordingly to customize item list.

Activate Items

Requirements for activation of items:

  • Newegg seller account is active.
  • Selling Price does not equal 0.00.
  • Inventory greater than 0.
  • No pending restrictions in item such as “Item Under Review”.
  • For Newegg global item activation, the item's Country of Origin should be populated. In addition, to adhering to the preceding requirements.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List > click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Activate one item, click icon status to activate, the color will change from yellow to green. mi_activate_one_1.png
  3. Activate more than one item, use Activate Selected Items option, select specific items by checking on checkbox OR selecting uppermost checkbox will select all, then click OK to activate. Batch activation will occur for current page only, you will repeat this step if you have multiple items in different pages.mi_active_batch_1.png
  4. For Newegg global item activation, select the global countries first then click SEARCH to list the global SKUs. Activate either using steps 2 or 3 mentioned above. Not applicable for Newegg.ca and Neweggbusiness.com platforms. mi_active_global_1.png

Update Contents of Item

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List > click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Click icon under Action field to edit the contents of item. mi_edit_content_1.png
  3. Click each tab and update fields accordingly. If fields are grayed out (e.g. Website Short Title, Product Description) you do not have permission to edit its contents, you may contact Newegg Marketplace Integration Team at datafeeds@newegg.com if you have concerns. In addition, you cannot edit Item Condition, Manufacturer, Manufacturer Part#/ISBN, Packs or Sets, UPC, and Seller Part# of existing item. Click SUBMIT to save update.updatecontent02.png

Update Price Information and/or Shipping

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List > click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Update items MSRP, Selling Price, MAP Price, Checkout MAP, and/or Shipping accordingly per page. The value field of price information and/or shipping will be hi-lighted if modified. Please note:
    • MAP Price: If Selling Price is below MAP Price at Newegg product page, the price will be hidden, customer's will need to add item to shopping cart to view price.
    • Checkout MAP: If enabled and Selling Price is below MAP Price at Newegg product page, the price will be hidden, customer's will need to add item to shopping cart then go to checkout page to view price.
    • Shipping: Default or Free values. If Default is selected the estimated shipping will based off your shipping rate table. Shipping rate table can be viewed/edited at: Seller Portal > Manage Account > Shipping Settings > at Shipping Rate section.
  3. Click SAVE ALL UPDATES to update and save.mi_price_ship_usa_1.png
  4. For Newegg global price information and/or shipping update, select the global countries first then click SEARCH to list the global SKUs. Refer to steps 2 and 3. Not applicable for Newegg.ca and Neweggbusiness.com platforms.mi_active_global_1.png
  5. Newegg system is able to convert USD currency to local currency of global item. Enable feature per each global item, example:
    • Update the Currency code of global country to USD.
    • Update MSRP, Selling Price and/or MAP Price accordingly of global item based from USD value.
    • Click SAVE ALL UPDATES to update and save.
    • Once price updated you may click status icon to activate item.
    • Newegg system will then convert price to local currency of global country.mi_price_global_1.png

Check Available Quantity

Newegg Item List will show the current available selling quantity from one of the following:

  • Shipped by Seller (SBS). Orders will be fulfilled by seller directly.
  • Shipped by Newegg (SBN). Orders will be fulfilled by Newegg SBN services.

NOTE: When the inventory is available from both SBS and SBN, SBN will be prioritize first. The Available Quantity will only display the inventory with SBN. For example, item A are fulfilled by both SBS and SBN. SBN has the inventory of 10 and SBS has 100. The current Available Quantity for item A will be 10. To review the total quantity, including both SBS and SBN, of items, please refer to Update Inventory.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List > click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Scroll horizontally for Available Quantity. If Shipped by is Newegg then Available Quantity is based on SBN inventory. Else, Seller then Available Quantity is based on SBS inventory.il_availqty.png

Update Inventory

The Update Inventory tab will list the inventories for each items if available from one of the following:

  • Shipped by Seller (SBS). Orders will be fulfilled by seller directly.
  • Shipped by Newegg (SBN). Orders will be fulfilled by Newegg SBN service.

NOTE: Under Update Inventory tab, you can only update/add inventory for SBS Inventory. For updating SBN inventory please refer to Shipped by Newegg Updating Inventory.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List
  2. Inventory update:
    • Click Update Inventory for dedicated section in Newegg seller portal for updating inventory.
    • Click SEARCH to view list.
    • Newegg will list the SBS and SBN inventory for each items if applicable.
    • Update inventory accordingly for each items warehouse location per page for SBS. The inventory value field will be hi-lighted if modified. SBN inventory will be grayed out.
    • Click SAVE ALL UPDATES to update inventory for SBS. invta.png

Delete an Item

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List > click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Click icon under Action field to delete item(s) per page. It may take up to 1 minute to process. Batch delete is not available in seller portal, contact Newegg Marketplace Integration team at datafeeds@newegg.com to help process batch delete.

Add Variation

Requirements to add variant items to your existing listing:

  • Newegg subcategory must support group-by properties.
  • Each item's group-by property is populated, parent and child items, all group-by properties populated.
  • Each variant should be unique.
  • Variation to be added should not have been created, you can only add new items to existing listing.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List click SEARCH to view list.
  2. Click icon under Action field to get started with creating variant listing. mi_add_variant_1.png
  3. Create Similar Item section:
    • This section will show you the existing item information and its populated group-by properties. This example, size and color are all the group-by properties for this product. Note group-by properties will vary from subcategory to subcategory.
    • If all group-by properties are populated then you may move forward to create a new variation. Click ADD A SIMILAR ITEM, you may click several times if you want to create more than one variation. mi_add_variant_2.png
  4. To create the similar item(s) minimal information is required to complete (e.g. enter Seller Part#, MPN, UPC, Inventory, and Image(s)). To upload image(s) click Upload Images. To complete process click SAVE ALL.

    • Mfr Par# Enter the manufacturer’s unique part number of product.

    • UPC/ISBN Enter the UPC or ISBN code of product.

    • Seller Part# Enter unique identification number that you will use to keep track of product on your end.

    • Condition Detail This field will be available only if Item Condition is used. Enter information related to the product’s condition it can be described here to help customers understand the product.
    • Group-by field(s) Enter the variant value(s) for each field.
      Note: Subcategory related field name(s) will vary.

    • Length, Width, Height, Weight, MSRP, Selling Price, and Shipping update if needed.

    • Inventory Enter the quantity available for sale for item.

    • Item Images Enter image(s) for New or Refurbished either by URL or direct upload. Image upload by URL must be a direct link to the actual image and image file must be (.jpg or .jpeg).

Setup Third-party Warranty per Item

NOTE: Used item warranty does not currently show up on the warranty tab at Newegg website product page but will in a future update.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List
  2. Click Search to view listing.
  3. Check if you have enabled Third-party Warranty under customization item list.
  4. Under Third-party Warranty parts/Labor Days, click add symbol for specific refurbished/used item. Input the warranty days and service provider.
  5. Click SAVE it will take up to 10 minutes for updates to propagate to all systems.
  6. Once warranty has been applied, you may edit or remove it.third_party_warranty_per_item.jpg

Shipped by Newegg Updating Inventory

To get started with updating inventory for Shipped by Newegg, you need to send items to Newegg warehouses where it will be updated when received. Sending inventory to Newegg warehouse for Newegg.com, Newegg.ca and Neweggbuisness.com platforms you must select eligible items to send to Newegg warehouse.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item List
  2. Shipped by Newegg Inventory update for Newegg.com and Newegg.ca platform:
    • Click SEARCH to view list.
    • Select Send Inventory / Replenishment Shipment
    • Select specific item(s) at current page to create shipment. Please note only 10 items can be sent per shipment.
    • Click OK to work on shipment of item(s) to Newegg warehouse. mi_sbn_com_1.png
  3. Shipped by Newegg Inventory update for Neweggbusiness.com platform:
    • If the items has not been converted to Shipped by Newegg. You will need to convert it first to send shipment to Newegg warehouse. Click SEARCH and select Convert Item to Shipped by Newegg. Select items per page to be converted then click OK.mi_sbn_biz_1.png
    • If the items are converted then click Item Shipped by Newegg. Click SEARCH and Select specific item(s) at current page to create shipment. Select Send Inventory / Replenishment Shipment then click OK to work on shipment of item(s) to Newegg warehouse.mi_sbn_biz_2.png

Item Multi-Language Content

Newegg Marketplace can support Product Title* and Product Description in different languages other than English for designed countries only. Currently the supported language is Simplified Chinese. The content in Simplified Chinese will be displayed at TTHIGO website.

*Added Product Title is currently not available for TTHIGO until further notice.

Add Multi-Language Content

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item Multi-Language Content
  2. Click ADD MULTI-LANGUAGE CONTENT to request.mi_addml1.png
  3. Click CHOOSE ITEM to pick a product in your item list.
    • Leave blank to see all items or input/select search criteria.
    • Click SEARCH to view your item(s).
    • Select a item then click OKmi_addml2.png
  4. Under the review section, you may view the original content of item for both Title and Description (Overview) in English. mi_addml_rev.png
  5. Select language, input the content in local language for better customer experience:
    • [Required] Enter Title.
    • [Optional] Enter Description (Overview).
    • [Optional] Click Preview to view how content will display in desktop site or mobile device.

Manage Existing Multi-Language Content

When you have added mutli-language content to your item(s), you may manage it accordingly. You can view, edit, and/or remove the multi-language content.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Item Multi-Language Content
  2. To view item(s) that have multi-language:
    • Leave blank to list all or input/select search criteria to select specific item(s).
    • Click SEARCH to view list.
  3. Action for multi-language:
    • Click icon to edit the content.
    • Click icon to remove/delete the content.
  4. Clicking on the available link(s) will direct to your item(s) product page at TTHIGO website. mi_mngml1.png

Batch Update Price Information, Shipping, and Activation

Price feed update version 2.0:

  • Update price information, shipping, and activation of U.S. and/or Global items.
  • Check shipping settings at: Seller Portal > Manage Account > Shipping Settings
  • Newegg system will auto convert USD value to local currency of global country. (This is not automatic, you will need to enable this feature).
  • Not available for Newegg.ca and Neweggbusiness.com platforms.

Requirements for activation of items:

  • Newegg seller account is active.
  • Selling Price does not equal 0.00.
  • Inventory greater than 0.
  • No pending restrictions in item such as “Item Under Review”.
  • Items Country of Origin should be populated.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Batch Update Price
  2. Download data feed template:
    • Download File Template tab selected.
    • Select format of data feed, leave Industry, Category and Manufacturer to all, so all SKUs will be downloaded to price feed.
    • By default the checkbox is checked Download template with your items populated in the file, do not uncheck.
    • Click DOWNLOAD FILE TEMPLATE
    • Click REFRESH LIST to refresh the status of download. There is no emailed notification of completed download you must manually check status of download.
    • When Initial status has changed to Completed under Download Link a link will be available. Click Download and save file to local drive. The file will include a complete list of data feed templates of all your items.

International Price Mirroring

International Price Mirroring tool is designed to copy the MSRP and Selling Price from your active U.S. listings to the active listings of international countries.

Important:

  • The shipping settings for international countries must be configured correctly before using this feature. You can verify settings at: Seller Portal > Mange Account > Shipping Settings
  • Only active listings for both U.S. and international countries will be processed. The process will bypass items on promotion, U.S. or inactive listing.
  • This is an one-time update only. So before using, you must update the price and activation status of U.S. and international countries from seller portal or data feed accordingly.
    • Manually update price and activation for global SKUs. Click here for reference.
    • Batch update price and activation for global SKUs. Click here for reference.
  • You can use this feature once every 30 days.
  • International Price Mirroring feature does not apply to the listings of China.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Batch Update Price > International Price

Batch Create New Items

Item creation data feed version 1.01.

The feed will vary from subcategory to subcategory, it will contain basic information and subcategory related properties.

NOTE: If item was created in wrong subcategory, Newegg Marketplace seller cannot update or change products Newegg subcategory. If item was created incorrectly to Newegg system please notice datafeeds@newegg.com to review.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Batch Item Creation/Update
  2. Download data feed template:
    • Download File Template tab selected.
    • Select Batch Item Creation

    • Select industry
    • Select category

Batch Create Existing Items

Item creation data feed version 2.0.

How does the existing item creation work? Newegg system will check the values for Manufacturer, UPC, Manufacturer Part#, Item Condition and Packs or Sets if the values are in database.

  • If all values matched to an existing product then the item will get created to existing listing.
  • Else not all values matched then item is not created.

Alternatively, if you have the Newegg Item# (found in Newegg website) you may use this value to create item without using Manufacturer, UPC and Manufacturer Part#.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Batch Item Creation/Update
  2. Download data feed template:
    • Download File Template tab selected.
    • Select Batch Item Creation
    • Check checkbox Create item that exist on Newegg.
    • Select file type of data feed

Batch Update Items Contents (Basic Information and Subcategory Attributes)

Item creation data feed version 1.01.

This feed is not designed to update existing item:

  • MSRP, Selling Price, MAP Price, Checkout Map, and Shipping. Please use inventory and/or price feed for related update.
  • Seller Part#, Manufacturer, UPC/ISBN, Manufacturer Part#, Item Condition, and Pack or Sets. These fields are locked after item has been created in Newegg system.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Batch Item Creation/Update
  2. Download data feed template:
    • Download File Template tab selected.
    • Select Batch Item Update
    • Select file type of data feed
    • Click DOWNLOAD FILE TEMPLATE to request for Newegg to download all your SKUs and pre-populate it to feed. This request can only occur once every eight hours.
    • Click REFRESH LIST to refresh the status of download. There is no emailed notification of completed download you must manually check status of download.
    • When Initial status has changed to Completed under Download Link a link will be available. Click Download and save file to local drive. The file will include a complete list of data feed templates of all your items created in its specific subcategory.

    Note: you cannot update Seller Part#, Manufacturer, Manufacturer Part # / ISBN, UPC, Item Condition, and Packs Or Sets. Once created it cannot be changed by Newegg marketplace sellers. If you have any further questions or concerns you may contact datafeeds@newegg.com.

    Set Action field accordingly to update contents, see below for types that this field will accept. If left blank nothing will happen with update.
    • Update Item to update the information of a product already in your item list. This action will NOT update the item’s pricing info, inventory, shipping, activation or images.
    • Update/Append Image to upload additional image(s) of the product or overwrite existing image(s). Image(s) will be overwritten if image file name is the same as previously uploaded. Price and Inventory update data feed version:

  • Updates items price information, inventory, shipping and/or activation with this feed.
  • Available for use for Newegg.ca and Neweggbusiness.com platforms.
  • Exception Newegg.com marketplace sellers that have global fulfillment centers and/or ship to global countries, this feed is not available for use. Please use price feed version 2.0 and inventory feed version 2.0 for related updates.
  • Check settings at: Seller Portal > Manage Account > Shipping Settings.

Requirements for activation of items:

  • Newegg seller account is active.
  • Selling Price does not equal 0.00.
  • Inventory greater than 0.
  • No pending restrictions in item such as “Item Under Review”.

Process Shipment List for Newegg Warehouse

If you have not started the initial process of updating inventory for Shipped by Newegg, please go here. When you have prepared an order to be sent to Newegg warehouse you need finalize shipment, the initial status is Preparing and to have updated to Shipped, you need to work on the shipment.

If Newegg warehouse received any discrepancy with your shipment (e.g. damage shipment, short shipment, etc..) it will documented, you will find the details under the Exception Return Shipment List tab.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Shipment List (SBN Management Only) > Shipment List
  2. Input specific information (i.e. Shipment ID, NE Item#, Seller Part#) or leave blank. Click SEARCH to view shipment list.
  3. Once you have requested to replenish your inventory for Shipped by Newegg services the status of shipment is at Preparing. You need to process shipment. Shipments that have been processed (e.g. completed Action > Work on Shipment), the process will change from Preparing to Ready to Ship.

Get Alerted when Shipped by Newegg Inventory is Low or Out of Stock

This is only applicable if you are using Shipped by Newegg services and items have been received by Newegg warehouse. Use the Inventory Alert function to set an alert quantity for Shipped by Newegg items, when it reaches the alert quantity you entered you will be notified within 24 hours.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Items > Inventory Alert (SBN Management Only) > Replenish Inventory Alert
  2. Input specific information (i.e. Manufacturer, NE Item#, Seller Part#) or leave blank. Click SEARCH to view list of Shipped by Newegg items. Proceed to step 3 if no results, you may have not added any items to be alerted. Else, proceed to step 4.getalertedforsbn01.jpg

Apply Items for Newegg Premier Seller Program

The program is currently only available for Newegg.com platform. For Newegg.com marketplace sellers wanting to join this program go to Seller Portal > Add-on-Services. Newegg Premier Program and Newegg Shipping Label Service must be both enabled to get started with the program. When enabled, the Newegg.com marketplace seller’s items will have option to mark their items for Newegg Premier. Below are the steps to batch items to mark as Newegg Premier.

Subcategories that Require UPC

Find out if UPC is required to create items under a certain subcategory. If Newegg finds one or more subcategories where UPC is required to create items, each subcategory will be listed with all applicable manufacturers. Else, if search result is No data matched your criteria or blank then UPC is NOT required.
