Manage Store

The Manage Store function will help Newegg Marketplace sellers to maximize their business by creating dedicated professional-looking store for displaying promotional banners and products. You can access store building function in Seller Portal that you can manage and promote your business.

Available for Standard, Professional and Enterprise members. Please note, Standard members have limited features to Manage Store function, to learn more about upgrading membership and for complete instructions go here to review our Newegg Elite Seller guide.

If you do not find Manage Store function under Newegg Seller Portal navigation, please contact your Newegg category manager (CM) or contact datafeeds@newegg.com to check settings.

Note: Manage Store is only available for Newegg.com platform.

Store Front for Standard Seller

To get started with setting up Store Front (Standard), follow steps below.

Steps:


Set Navigation of Store

First step is to select available subcategories that will be displayed under Navigation under Store page. Under your store the Newegg customers are able to navigate your items under its specific subcategories.

How-To:

  1. Newegg Seller Portal > Manage Store > Store Front
  2. Add category to navigation.
    • Click Select subcategory at here to view Newegg category list.
    • Click on category then it will unfold and list all its subcategories for that specified category.
    • Select the subcategory to display.
  3. You can re-arrange the order of category for your Newegg Store Front navigation. Selecting the category and click Up or Down to position it accordingly under Navigation. If you want to remove a category from Navigation from Store Front, select category then click Remove.
  4. Click CONTINUE to move to next step. If have not selected any subcategory the CONTINUE button will be grayed out.

Set Banner of Store

Second step is to add banner on the top of your store. A maximum of 4 banners can be added. Banner image requirement:

  • The dimension must be: 1920 x 360 pixels. For the best results on all devices and different views of browser, please create your banners using the following guidelines:
    • The safe area for the essential content: 1000 x 360 pixels
    • The safe area for text: 900 x 300 pixels
  • File size must be less than 5MB.
  • File format accepted is JPG, JPEG, or PNG.

Please note: Larger images may result in cropped view on certain devices.

How-To:

  1. Click ADD NEW IMAGE to create banner.
  2. Add title for banner. This will be seen above of your banner.
  3. Click ADD IMG to upload banner to Newegg system.
  4. [Optional] Add URL Link for banner.
  5. Activate or deactivate banner.
  6. Prioritize banners.
  7. [Optional] Schedule start and end date/time of banner to list at store front page.
  8. You can review uploaded banners. Click the back or forward arrow to review all banners.
  9. You will need at least one active banner up to proceed further. Click CONTINUE when a banner has been activated.
  10. Final step, click here.

    Note: If all banners are active, all banners will be displayed by priority under Store Front page. sf_banner.png

Final step is to setup Featured Items a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 48 can be promoted for Store page. The minimum requirement to setup Store is 8 featured items.

How-To:

  1. Add item(s) to feature in Store Front page.
    • ADD, use this if you know the specific item number. Input Seller Part# or Newegg item# accordingly to add item to feature. This process is designed for you to add one item at a time.
    • ADD ITEM BY BATCH, download template and input Seller Part# to be featured. Click Download File Template, in template enter all required information SellerPartsNo and Priority save file when all information inputted. When you added the items to file and saved, click Browse and find file in your local drive. Newegg system will add the Seller Part# in file to Store Front click OK to add item(s).
    • SEARCH ITEM, search for the items directly on your Newegg account item list. Select the item(s) you want to feature. When done click OK to add the featured item(s) then click CANCEL to get out of item selection page.
  2. You can change the position of each featured item(s) under Store Front page by updating the Priority, 1 being the first position and last position will be dependent on the number of featured items you have entered, max is 48. Click REFRESH PRIORITY to view new order.
  3. You may view or delete featured items.
    • Click icon to view featured item on Newegg website.
    • Select featured item(s) by checking on its checkbox or select upper most checkbox to select all then click DELETE SELECTED ITEM(S).
  4. Click SUBMIT to submit your Store Front updates.setfeatureditemsofyourstore.png

Premium Store Front for Professional or Enterprise Seller

To get started with setting up Store Front (Professional and Enterprise), follow steps below.

Steps:


Set Top Banner

First step is to add banners on the top of your store. A maximum of 4 banners can be added.

Banner image requirement:

  • The dimension must be: 1920 x 360 pixels. For the best results on all devices and different views of browser, please create your banners using the following guidelines:
    • The safe area for the essential content: 1000 x 360 pixels
    • The safe area for text: 900 x 300 pixels
  • File size must be less than 5MB.
  • File format accepted is JPG, JPEG, or PNG.

How-To:

  1. Seller Portal > Manage Store > Store Front
  2. Click ADD NEW IMAGE to create banner.
  3. Add title for banner. This will be seen above of your banner.
  4. Click ADD IMG to upload banner to Newegg System.
  5. [Optional] Add URL Link for banner if there is landing page available for current banner.
  6. Status: to activate or deactivate current banner.
  7. Set the priority for each banner. This decides the order of banners displaying on your store front.
  8. [Optional] Schedule start and end date/time of banner to list on store front page.
  9. You can review uploaded banners. Click the back or forward arrow to review all banners.
  10. Important! At least one active banner is required to proceed further. Click PREVIEW to view store front OR NEXT to continue. ms_ent_sf1.png

Set Categories

Second step, select available subcategories that will be displayed under store page. Customers are able to navigate your items under its specific subcategories.

How-To:

  1. Select category style (Minimum of 3 columns should be selected). Identify how many category(s) and the format that you would like to display on store front page.
  2. Edit category based on Category Only, links a category listed in your Newegg seller store. Or, Category and Subcategories, links a category and multiple subcategories in your Newegg seller store. To edit, click on the pencil icon on the category box to open edit window.
    • Category Only
      • Category Type:
        • Website Category: Choose a Category from your listings. (NOTE: this can be applied to the section of “Category and Subcategories” as well), the URL link will be auto generated from your selection.
        • Custom Link: Enter a Title. Input the URL link for a designed landing page in Newegg.com. For example, a link of the direct search result within your listings or a promotional landing page from Newegg marketing team. (NOTE: this can be applied to the section of “Category and Subcategories” as well)
      • Image URL is a direct image from one of your product(s) in Newegg seller store. Please know the Seller Part# or NE Item# before for the image that you will be using before hand.
      • Priority: Move position by priority.
      • Status: Set to be active (show link) or deactive (don't show link).ms_ent_sf2_2.png
    • Category and Subcategories (This portion will discuss adding Child Categories link under your main Category, refer to Category Only for details).
      • Click + ADD NEW CHILD CATEGORY to add subcategories under your main category.
      • Category Type:
        • Website Category: Click pencil icon to choose a Category from your store account, the URL link will be auto generated from your selection.
        • Custom Link: Enter a Title. Input the URL link for a designed landing page in Newegg.com. For example, a link of the direct search result within your listings or a promotional landing page from Newegg marketing team.
      • Priority: Move position by priority.
      • Status: Set to be active (show link) or deactive (don't show link).ms_ent_sf2.png
  3. Enter the information for all required fields then click SUBMIT to continue. (Repeat step 2 and 3 mentioned above till all categories have been entered)
  4. After completing all categories, click PREVIEW to view store front OR NEXT to continue.

Third step, you can now add your featured items on your store front.

How-To:

  1. Add item(s) to feature in Store Front page.
    • ADD ITEM, use this if you know the specific item number. Input Seller Part# or Newegg item# accordingly to add item to feature. This process is designed for you to add one item at a time.
    • BATCH ADD, download template and input Seller Part# to be featured. Click Download File Template, in template enter all required information SellerPartsNo and Priority save file when all information inputted. When you added the items to file and saved, click Browse and find file in your local drive. Newegg system will add the Seller Part# in file to Store Front click OK to add item(s).
    • SEARCH ITEMS, search for the items directly on your Newegg account item list. Select the item(s) you want to feature. When done click OK to add the featured item(s) then click CANCEL to get out of item selection page.
  2. You can change the position of each featured item(s) under Store Front page by updating the Priority.
  3. Click icon to view featured item on Newegg website.
  4. Select featured item(s) by checking on its checkbox or select upper most checkbox to select all then click REMOVE SELECTED ITEMS.
  5. Click NEXT to continue.ms_ent_sf3.png

Set Customized HTML (Optional)

Fourth step, you can add HTML tags to store front page. This step is optional, click NEXT to skip

How-To:

  1. Please review what is not allowed and guidelines.
  2. Enter the well-formatted message in HTML or upload an image banner or video clip.
  3. Important! All customized HTML message or video clip will be reviewed by Newegg team. The review status will be displayed on the bottom of the section:
    • Draft: saved but not submit yet.
    • Pending: submitted and waiting for review. It will take up to 7 business days for review process. If the status of your request was not updated for more than 7 business days, please contact Newegg team: EliteSupport@newegg.com for assistance.
    • Approved: reviewed and approved. Currently live on store front.
    • Declined: content does not meet Newegg requirement. Please correct the input then submit again.
  4. When complete, click PREVIEW to verify or NEXT to continue. ms_ent_sf4.png

Set Top Navigation (Optional)

Final step, you may setup available top navigation menu that will be displayed on the top of Store Front. There are two options available: direct link and drop-menu with subpages. This step is optional, click SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL to skip and complete.

Please note: After clicking SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL all changes to the storefront will be reviewed prior to being published on the Newegg website. If changes to your store are not reflected after 3 business days and you have not been contacted by a Newegg representative please email marketplacemarketing@newegg.com.

How-To:

  1. Adding direct link, click + ADD LINK TAB.
    • Enter the information for all required fields. Input the URL link for a designed landing page in Newegg.com. For example, a link of the direct search result within your listings or a promotional landing page from Newegg marketing team.
    • Click SUBMIT to move forward.ms_ent_sf5.png
  2. Adding drop-menu with subpages, click + ADD DROP DOWN TAB.
    • Enter the information for all required fields for the Tab Name. Select a Style for the links.
      • Campaign: Adds a direct link and sub link.
      • Text Link: Adds a direct link.
    • Click + ADD NEW CAMPAIGN OR +ADD NEW TEXT LINK depending on Style chosen.
      • Enter the information for all required fields for the drop-menu. NOTE:
        • Long title and link. Available for text and campaign.
        • Sub title and link. Available for campaign.
        • For long and sub links, input the URL link for a designed landing page in Newegg.com. For example, a link of the direct search result within your listings or a promotional landing page from Newegg marketing team.
        • Image URL. Available for campaign. Know Seller Part# or NE Item# of the product you will be using for image.
        • Priority: Move position by priority. Available for text and campaign.
        • Status: Set to be active (show link) or deactive (don't show link). Available for text and campaign.
      • Click SUBMIT to continue.
    • Click SUBMIT to complete addition of links for Tab Name OR click + ADD NEW… to add more links.ms_ent_sf6.png

Complete the Setup Process

How-To:

  1. Complete the store front setup with the following options:
    • Click PREVIEW if you would like to verify your current configurations or updates.
    • Click SAVE & CLOSE if you would like to save your update as draft and come back to edit soon before submitting your requests.
    • Click SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL if the setup of your Premium Store Front is completed and ready to go live. Please note: All changes to the storefront will be reviewed prior to being published on the Newegg website. If changes to your store are not reflected after 3 business days and you have not been contacted by a Newegg representative please email marketplacemarketing@newegg.com.
